I purchased the MegaSlam 672 for my grandsons for Christmas after reviewing several quality goals on the market. I could not be more pleased with the product and overall experience for the installation.

1. I ordered the product online and the process was extremely easy to process and complete. I ordered after a call to the company to learn the differences between two different products. The customer service agent was extremely helpful and gave great advice and responses to my questions. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

2. The trucking company that delivered the product was very good and assisted in unloading the 2 pallets of components for the goal kit. The product was packaged well in cartons on the pallets. Everything was marked well and easily identified for assembly. If you are unable to install the goal shortly after receiving the product, you will need some adequate space to store the goal until you are ready to unpackage and install.

3. Installation took some time to dig the hole and prep the hole for the goal, but the online videos were very well done and I highly recommend you review prior to installation.

4. The MegaSlam 672 installation recommended a fairly significant hole to pour concrete to install the goal. I rented a gasoline powered hole drilling tool to help in digging the hole. Without that tool, it would have taken another 2-3 hours to dig the hole. That is the major manual effort required to install the MegaSlam 672. We also borrowed an electric concrete mixer to prepare the concrete for the pad. The concrete mixer made this process go very fast.

5. Installation of the goal was very easy and the instructions were clear, but the videos are most informative and helpful. The kit has everything in terms of the bolts, washers, nuts, rebar, etc., but you will need appropriate tools to complete the installation. The materials are all of the highest quality and the backboard, goal, pole, protective padding are outstanding!

6. It only took 2 men to install everything on the goal up to the backboard installation. We used a pickup truck bed and a total of 3 men to install the glass backboard. There was a significant advantage of the MegaSlam 672 goal that allows the backboard to adjust down to 5 feet to allow this process to go smoothly. We were able to stand the backboard on the back of the pickup truck bed and adjust the goal to install the bolts and not hold the heavy glass backboard while trying to assemble the bolts and secure. You will need 3 men to install the glass backboard.

7. Once installed, the goal is the best looking and best functioning goal on the market - period. I have seen Porter, Spalding, Goalrilla, and many other professional looking and priced goals, but none of them are near the same quality and performance of this product. It simply is the best and a great value. The rigidity of the goal during long range shots is amazing and the type of experience you would find on an indoor professional gym.

8. Experience - once installed, my grandsons can adjust the goal easily to play ball with their friends or we can adjust quickly for a game for the adults. The goal also has a safety rod that you can install to prevent a child from lowering the goal below 7 Ft to prevent a vehicle from hitting the goal since it will lower to the 5 FT range without the safety pin installed. The safety pin cannot be accessed by children.

This is the finest outdoor goal on the market in my opinion. The regulation glass backboard is the finest quality along with every single component of this product. I highly recommend the goal and you will have an investment for a lifetime of fun and memories. Your home will be a destination for basketball fun!

Easy installation, top-quality basketball system. This was an investment well worth the money. Most appealing system in the neighborhood as well!

We purchased the MegaSlam 672 for a driveway slab installation. The installation was pretty straightforward, but as the instructions indicate, getting the backboard in place was definitely a 3 to 4 person job. We had 3 people lifting it in place and one person on a step ladder installing the bolt.

The whole system looks great, very professional looking vs our last cheap portable hoop, and the play is great - extremely solid and plays like the rims at our school, zero vibration off the glass.

Very happy with this purchase, we'll definitely get our money's worth with the amount of time our kids are spending out there.
