Called several different companies about their hoops, with MegaSlam a person always answered the phone and gave me all the info I could have asked for, and I’m pretty picky. Goal was on backorder when I placed my order and the time line I was given for delivery was spot on. Couldn’t have asked for more. Did the concrete and site prep myself, nothing too complicated there. Have to admit though, it was a lot easier using a Bobcat with an auger on it for my hole. Poured the column and pad together, installed the anchor system and waited three days. Unit was well packed and very heavy. No damage of any kind. Instructions we’re very well written and the hardware very well packed, almost impossible to mix anything up. Putting the main pile up wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, the backboard, however was the opposite. 1/2” glass is heavy! We put it in the back of my truck and managed to put blocks under each side to get it up high enough to mount to the arms. Overall installation time was only about 1.5-2 hours not counting concrete work. Shooting hoops that day and my kids haven’t stopped since then. High quality hoop, rebounds great, height adjustment easy as pie!!
