This product is fantastic. It is a heavy duty system with a very through design process. If you follow the instructions and don't skimp on digging the hole and pouring the correct amount of concrete the system is rock solid. I dug the hole and mixed the concrete by hand. I used 17 bags of 80 pound concrete and one 40 pound bag of concrete. I would recommend that if you are installing this hoop yourself, get a quote from a cement delivery company. The time I would have saved would have been well worth it. I leveled the concrete and installed the plate, but the fact that you can adjust the nuts on the mounting plate after the concrete is cured is a well thought out advantage to this system. Then when you put the post on you can adjust the post if needed to square it to the playing surface. As the instruction say you will need a few people to help you lift the backboard and slide the bolt through. The packaging and labeling of the hardware is another great advantage. I really can not say enough great things about this product and the design of the hoop. The are most certainly cheaper basketball systems out there and this Megaslam 60 was a replacement for a direct burial system that through the years rusted in non-obvious areas and became twisted to the playing surface. This really is a fantastic basketball system. I expect many many years of outdoor fun with family and friends.
