Overall, very positive experience with this system. Relatively straightforward installation, although I had to make my footing larger because I was digging out an old goal footing, but customer service advised to add some additional rebar which was simple.
Great clean design, one of my main reasons for buying was because the backboard does not have any vertical support bars directly behind the glass. It looks very clean and professional. My wife appreciates that the logo plates are not factory attached and it doesn't look like a billboard.
My biggest complaints, which are relatively minor, are the "Factory installed" washers, instruction layout, and mostly the height indicator design.

The "Factory Installed" washers are handy when they stay on. Seems like they are installed with a tiny amount of rubber cement, and I had 2 fall off with barely a bump. *Tip, use a piece of masking tape attached to the plastic washer to hang it down in front of the bolts and then "spear" the washer to get it in place. There is no space for hands, especially when trying to place the plastic washers for the backboard.

The instruction manual is informative, but would greatly benefit from some cleaner diagrams and slight editing. When assembling the spring assist the diagram is on a different page than the text steps, which is annoying when it is windy outside and you've got a piece of wood holding the instructions down. That particular step also talks about part (X) which is not shown in the diagram, pretty easy to figure out, but they should match.

My biggest issue is with the height indicator design. Per the instructions it is to be mounted in front on the plastic washer before the bolt passes through the steel tube. This positions the indicator a few inches away from the spring assist case, so when you attach the marking indicator on the spring assist, there is no precise way to line them up. You have to eyeball it and try to be level with the bottom of the indicator. I think it will be pretty easy to rig something up that will be more precise. I might try attaching an indicator to the spring assist shaft itself and marking the heights by hand.

I don't want my long-winded complaints to scare anyone off, I'm just hopeful the Mega Slam team can make some minor improvements to benefit everyone.
Overall, great system, best of any driveway system I have played on. Lots of fun already had by the entire family.
