I should preface this by noting that I am an engineer by degree and by nature, am extremely critical, and am regularly full of opinions of how thing could be done better (yes, I’m that guy). However, the MS660 has me stumped. The design is beautiful: no unnecessary complexity yet highly functional. Everything that could be pre-assembled was so (even the net was already attached) so field assembly was minimized. Nuts and bolts were labeled perfectly: no hunting for the right bolt for the right hole. Little plastic gap-washers were pre-glued into place to avoid the typically frustrating task of placement - brilliant. And, everything fit exactly as it should: excellent tolerance control. Full assembly took us less than an hour (not counting the concrete work).
It was heavy, but as my neighbor said: “if we have a tornado, I’m tying myself to this thing.” Everything about this goal is solid.
Just an amazing product: I could not be more impressed with the functionality and thoughtfulness of the design. The engineers at MegaSlam Hoops should be very proud.
