The first and Last Hoop I Will Ever Buy.
First off, this thing is a beast. The delivery guy had a hard time getting it off the truck and into my garage. He definitely needed my help or he wouldn't have been able to do it. The two pallets together must have weighed at least 600 pounds.

I considered installing this myself but made the wise decision to hire a couple of guys to do it for me. The hole for the concrete needed to be 18"x18"x48". It took these guys about 2 hours to dig but I think would have taken me all weekend. When they came back to put the hoop up they had four guys and even then it looked like a lot of effort. It didn't look like it was difficult to install, just required some muscles. There aren't a lot of pieces and the installers didn't need the instructions, it was very easy to understand how it all went together.

The quality of this hoop is amazing. The steel for the pole and the arms is thick. I don't see how this thing could be damaged unless you really tried. This thick steel means the hoop has almost no wobble when playing. I am by no means a small guy and I have dunked on it quite a few times already and held onto the rim. This thing could probably be dunked on by someone twice my size.

I would recommend this hoop to anyone interested in putting up a hoop in their driveway. It's more affordable than most others and uses better material. Don't plan on putting it up yourself unless you're up for backbreaking work and unless you have another person to help with digging and pouring the concrete and 3 extra guys when putting the hoop up. It cost me $400 to have it professionally installed and that was a good investment.
