Shaq couldn't break this hoop!
The Good. This hoop is indestructible. I am 7' 265 lbs and I tested it with a few Shaq board breaking dunks before I let my kids hang on it. The goal itself was as solid as the goals I played on in college. I forgot what it was like to get a real response from the backboard and rim. Made me realize all the rolls I got from our old fiberglass goal were NOT because of my touch (eeek). After a while the J came back again, then I heard it... the sound of the box when you splash that straight away jumper...that sound is so sweet.

The Bad. Installation is not easy. Mainly because of the concrete needed to hold the hoops weight. I rented a concrete mixer, mixed and poured all 20+ 80 lb. bags of concrete....Suggestion, hire someone for this part...

The Ugly. After the concrete dried 3 days later it was just a matter of getting the hoop mounted, which too was a bit difficult. The parts are heavy. I power lift and the awkward weight of a 72" backboard or 5 gauge steel post was no joke. Make sure you have 4 strong people to install the backboard in particular (not 2 like I did...it was ugly).

That's the good, bad and ugly... When it was all said and done, our family has a great hoop that my kids can enjoy for years to come. I might even get my jumper back...maybe...
