I have 2 HS basketball players and they love it. Rim is tight and when shooting feels like you are at the gym. I dont have to worry about them having dunking contests as the system is very strong.

I finally got to installing my 660 after nearly 2 months in the garage, as I was waiting for my new concrete driveway to be poured. Well worth the wait!! I also let them dig/pour the massive pad required for this beast. After that, the installation couldn't be easier. The manual was perfectly laid out, all parts labeled well and step by step put up the whole system in about an hour and a half. I just needed help from a couple of neighbors to lift the backboard in place, but otherwise a solo job. This system is the real deal. I did hours and hours of research online, looking in stores, etc, and decided this was the best choice for two main reasons...1. 5 gauge steel (600 lbs.!) and 2. hot dipped galvanized. Also, the price is very competitive for the quality of product you are getting. Now that my system is up, it looks amazing and performs just as good. Rebound response is great, system is very sturdy, even when all 230 lbs of me dunks and hangs. I highly recommend the upgrade to the pro break-away rim...very nicely made. The included padding is a very nice touch as that is extra on most systems. My young kids love this system just as much as me. They can lower it themselves and play at just the right height and the system will grow with them which I love. Time will tell on long term durability and rust protection, but I fully expect this to last many many years to come. I recently purchased and installed my brand new Mega Slam 660 and I have to say that not only were installation instructions straight forward...this thing is built to last! It looks amazing and performs just like the videos on the website. We've had friends over and not only do they dunk, they HANG and the system doesn't even budge. I was honestly skeptical at first, but after the first day of chaos, it works like a champ!
It looks amazing as well...everyone is jealous that this hoop is better than the ones in any parks/schools in the area. I have small kids and love the fact that it can adjust to 5 feet! Both Matt and Michael were pure professionals before and after my purchase. Mega Slam is top notch!! Don't buy a lesser cost product...there is a reason they have such a robust guarantee!
